Serving the Poor
The early church was a place where the poor were cared for by other members of the church family to the extent that there were “no needy persons among them”. Acts 4 v 34
At City Church we are starting to work out how we can be “good news to the poor”. This is something that we can all express individually with acts of kindness to others, however, we are also looking to start projects that help those on the margins of society that many can get involved with. Julian Prior is heading up our Social Action work.
So far this we have been involved in helping establish two projects;
